Soil Judging Resources

Soil Judging is the best experience undergraduate students can get in the field of soil science. My goal is to make Soil Judging more approachable by providing resources and information that can be used by Soil Judging Teams, both new and established.


Why is soil so important in vineyards?

Grapevines are deep-rooted and long-lived plants. Unlike some crops like corn and soybeans, you can't move your vineyard a year after it was planted, so it's of utmost importance to choose a suitable site.
